This list may change in the future.  If it does, we will notify you as described below.

Information We Share

Blogarithm does not share your personal information, including email addresses, preferences, or subscriptions, with anyone outside of the company, except as described below.

Blogarithm shares aggregate information about our users with advertisers, marketers, and sponsors but will not give or sell email addresses or other identifying information to advertisers, marketers, or sponsors.  We use personal information, such as the sites you subscribe to, to tailor advertising content, but we do not identify you to advertisers.

We may publish aggregate information about site usage and our user base, such as the number of people who use our service and the number of visits to our website.

Email Communications

As part of our regular Blogmail service, when the pages you have requested that we track change, Blogarithm will send you notification via email. We may also send you announcements from time to time about our service. Except for advertising in regular Blogmail, we will not send you any unsolicited offers, announcements or advertisements from third parties unless you specifically request it.

Through our Blog Forwarding service, we allow you to send email to your friends and associates.  Your email address will be shared with those you send the mail to, so that they can know who sent the email.

Updating Your Information

You may update any of the personal information you have given us using the “my account” page at http://www.blogarithm.com/account.php.

Cookies

Cookies are packets of information that a website may ask your browser to remember to make it easier for the website to identify you when you return at a later time. Blogarithm uses cookies to make your experience of our site smoother by saving a small amount of data on your computer.  This data is encrypted – no person will be able to identify you from the information we store.

If you do not wish us to leave a cookie on your computer, you may adjust your browser’s settings to refuse them.  All sections of our website will still operate properly if you do this, but you will be asked for login information more often.

At times, we must disclose relevant personally identifiable information about you to our contractors and partners so they may provide these specific services for us. We require them to keep your information confidential and only to use the information on our behalf.

Disclosures Required by Law

Blogarithm will disclose information if we have a good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law or regulation, when required by legal process, or to protect the rights of Blogarithm, its agents and employees, its customers or the public.  We will make a good-faith effort to notify you when such disclosure is necessary, unless prohibited by law or court order, but cannot guarantee notification will be made.

As a result of merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets or bankruptcy, Blogarithm may transfer information to or share information with other entities.  In this event, Blogarithm will notify you before your information becomes subject to a new privacy policy.
