More Accurate

Since our site update in June, when we changed our look, we have been busy working behind the scenes. Last night we launched changes to the way we track blogs that will make our notifications more accurate. Our philosophy has been to minimize the number of false negatives -- the number of times a blog has actually changed but we fail to report it. With our new release we are reducing the number of false positives -- there will be fewer times when you receive a notification for a blog that has not changed. Given the ever-changing nature of the Internet, I doubt we will ever be 100% accurate. But as our FAQ says:

We will continue to make improvements so that our technology will be even more accurate in the future.
