Search and Enjoy
We are very happy to announce two new, related features that have just been added to the site.
The first is the ability to search our database of blogs by title and url at the search and discover page. Not only can you search -- it also show a list of twenty highly-subscribed to blogs to get you started.
When you find a blog, you can find out more about it on our new detail pages, including the number of subscribers, when it was added to our database and the last time it was updated. If you like the what you see, you can click the "Subscribe" link to start receiving notifications. Pages exist for everything from mortgage fraud to Sikh philosophy. You can also get to there from your account page. Just click on the info link next to any blog link.
The most exciting part of the detail page is a list of other blogs read by people who read this one. Use it to find other blog that you might like to read. Like knitting? Then maybe you'll like the blogs relating to Fibermania. Prefer your blogs in Spanish? Find a dozen at El Blog de Enrique Dans. Whatever you are looking for, it's more fun when your fellow blog readers help you find it.

This is the only place I found where I can contact you. I am a member of blogarithm and have subscribed to get my best friends blog sent to me in e-mail whenever he posts a new post.
I am getting the e-mails from blogarithm a day late! I want to be able to know just when he posts so I can go right then and comment on his blog! I don't want to wait a day late.
Since it is my best friends blog I will go look myself long before blogatrithm ever sends me an e-mail. With other blogs I found that I would like to be notified when they update, I don't want them to be late too. I might as well just not even used blogarithm if it is going to be a day late getting to me.
Is there any way that it can be sent a notice at the right time?
I think you need a contact page, or a link to an e-mail address or something. If this blog is the only way you want to be contacted, then it might be a good idea to put a tagboard in your blog, and something on the main site stating to post in the blog if people need help.

Hi Countess, Blogarithm is designed for you to track a number of blogs at once. It sends out email once a day so that people aren't overwhelmed with email -- all of your updates come in one email. We are considering adding a feature that will allow multiple updates a day, or for you to get email immediately when your friend updates. It sounds like you would support us adding that feature.
About contacting us, I agree our support address is a bit hard to find. It is on our About page, which is linked through "Blogarithm, Inc." at the bottom of each page. Our contact email is blogarithm@blogarithm.com. I'll make sure it gets posted more prominently (on the help page), in the next day.
