Enhanced BlogMail from Blogarithm
As many of those who use our service have already discovered, we have made available a new, enhanced version of our BlogMail service!
We still provide daily (unless none of your blogs have been updated) emails letting you know which of the websites that you track have been updated during the previous day. Here's what's new:
- More attractive (HTML) format
- If any of the blogs or websites you track provide a syndication feed, we'll include:
- Excerpts - see what's going on before deciding to visit the site
- Article menus - go directly to any recent article you choose
- Clickable envelope icon - lets you forward an article to a friend
- Direct links to Blogarithm features and your account page
- Subscribe to new blogs from within your BlogMail
We'll be going into more detail about each of these features and more in upcomings posts to this blog. In the meantime, for more information, visit our page all about Blogmail.
To switch to receiving enhanced BlogMail, just see the User Options section of your account page.
We'd be happy to send you a fully functional sample BlogMail.
You can also get more information here.
To create a new blogarithm account, visit our home page.
As always, we'd love to hear your feedback!
Posted by Max Minkoff at October 12, 2005 04:56 PMWhen blogarithm crawls website it does not identify itself as a crawler and therefore gets counted in the visitor stats. This is a real pain.
Posted by: David on October 27, 2005 07:36 AMHi David, Thanks for the feedback. We realize this is a problem. I can commit to you that we'll get this fixed in our next major release, which we will put out in November.
